Maca is a small vegetable root grown at over 3500 m above sea level. Called “Andes superfood” the maca is popular among the Peruvian indigenous people.

Suggested use: 3 – 5 g (≈1 tablespoon) daily in smoothies, shakes, hot drinks, desserts, etc. It is recommended to start with the minimum amount and gradually increase the dose over time.

Recipe for raw homemade ice cream:
Ingredients: 2-3 bananas, 4-5 tablespoons maca powder Bionia, 4-5 fresh dates, a pinch of Bourbon vanilla, protein lupine (optional). Method of preparation: Peel the dates and remove the corn. Freeze the bananas in a freezer for a few hours. After that, grind all the ingredients in a blender/chopper to get a smooth mixture. Allow to harden in the freezer for a short time or eat immediately.
Vanilla Shake Recipe:
Ingredients: 1 banana, 2 tablespoons maca powder Bionia, 4-5 fresh pitted dates with removed corn, a pinch of Bourbon vanilla, ginger to taste, 3 tea cups nut or soy milk. Method of preparation: Grind all ingredients in a blender to get a smooth drink.
